BECOME A MEMBER

Members of Starbird Theatre enjoy these great benefits:

• Annual Membership meeting participation during which the annual budget and production schedule will be reviewed.

Any person 18 years of age or older , of any race, creed, color, sexual orientation, gender, or ability may become a member of Starbird Theatre upon fulfilling the following requirements:

1. Submission and acceptance of a membership application.
2. Payment of the required annual membership dues.

• Paid Membership: $50
• Participation Membership $25

Participate in the following Categories for this membership status.  Status will be determined on October 1^st to receive discounted membership for the following year and participants notified.

Sound Operator Mainstage Production
Lights Operator Mainstage Production
Sound Design (if minimum 10 hours of design)
Props for Mainstage Production

Costuming for Mainstage Production
Stage Manager Mainstage Production

Director Mainstage Production

AD Mainstage Production

Social Media (if minimum 10 hours dedicated)
Poster Design for Mainstage Production
Website Manager (if minimum 10 hours dedicated)
Newsletter Editor  (if minimum 10 hours dedicated)
Grant Writer Lead  (if minimum 10 hours dedicated)
Other Committee Lead (non board member, 10 hours dedicated)
Work 2 Events (Such as Pride, Arts Festival, etc, Min 10 hours)
Other Activity Deemed Appropriate by AD/ED
Executive Director Role

Artistic Director Role

A financial hardship request can be submitted to the Executive Director.

• Payment schedule: Dues are paid annually by September 30th.
  • Dues must be paid at least one week prior to annual meeting to earn benefit of voting for Board of Director positions.
  • Dues paid after March 1^st will be reduced by 50%, and membership term will be the remaining season through September.
• Acceptable payment methods: The company website will have an electronic payment interface which will be the primary method of payment for annual membership dues. Other donations may be accepted electronically or via check if necessary, however should any fees be incurred due to processing or return checks, the fee amount will be deducted from the total.

Membership runs from September 30th through October 1st. Membership status is for a term of one year OR for the remainder of the season, where applicable.

Members of Starbird Theatre agree to the following upon submitting their Membership Application:

• Members agree to uphold the Starbird Theatre bylaws and mission statement, and make every good faith effort to keep Starbird Theatre a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment for everybody.
• Members agree they will not participate in or post inappropriate, inaccurate, or offensive content within the company environments and inclusive to all Starbird Theatre social media platforms.
• Members agree they will not hold Starbird Theatre liable for any tangible or intangible
  damage that might happen to them while participating in the membership.

Membership status is for a term of one year OR for the remainder of the season, where applicable.

On September 30th, all memberships are considered terminated unless or until the following year's membership dues are paid in full.

Membership may also be revoked for any of the following reasons:

• Death
• By Personal Request
• Nonpayment of Annual Dues
• Inappropriate or offensive behavior as defined in the Starbird Theatre Bylaws and Operating Policies and Procedures

Any dues paid will not be refunded upon termination of membership.

Members who have terminated their membership for any reason (EXCEPT inappropriate or offensive behavior) may at any time pay the required annual dues to reinstate their membership.
